What is the role of the The Direct Care Foundation in the administration of Atlas Direct policies?

While the The Direct Care Foundation (DFC) is the organization that sponsors the Atlas Direct group fixed-indemnity health policy, it does not have any role in the administration of Atlas Direct policies.

That is because the underwriting, distribution, and administration of Atlas Direct are handled, respectively, by Pan-American Life Insurance Company of New Orleans, Louisiana; Atlas Direct Insurance Agency of Henderson, Nevada; and Allied National of Overland Park, Kansas.

This arrangement leaves The Direct Care Foundation free to focus on its non-profit advocacy and educational work promoting Direct Primary Care to providers, patients, and government officials.
