Once you are approved for Atlas Direct coverage, you will receive a Certificate of Coverage. This document serves as legal proof of coverage under the Atlas Direct DPC Program’s group insurance policy, which is held by the sponsoring organization, the Direct Care Foundation, and underwritten by Pan-American Life Insurance Company.
Since that policy is a group policy, the sponsoring group (the Direct Care Foundation) is the “policyholder,” while the members of the group who are covered are “certificate holders.” You can find your Certificate of Coverage and Schedule of Benefits in the Document Locker of your Atlas Direct member portal, which you can access by logging in at www.atlas.direct and going to the Account section
