While the Direct Care Foundation (DCF) is the organization that sponsors Atlas Direct’s fixed-indemnity insurance policy, it does not have any role in the administration of Atlas Direct’s insurance product.
That is because the underwriting, distribution, and administration of Atlas Direct’s fixed-indemnity insurance product are handled by, respectively, Pan-American Life Insurance Company of New Orleans, Louisiana; Atlas Direct Agency LLC of Henderson, Nevada; and Administrative Concepts Incorporated, of Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
This administrative arrangement leaves the Direct Care Foundation free to focus on its non-profit advocacy and educational work promoting the Direct Care model among providers, patients, and government officials.
