Neither Atlas Direct nor its insurance plan defines or maintains any sort of provider networks. So you are free to obtain covered services from any provider you wish.
Even better, your Atlas Direct insurance coverage will pay out exactly the same dollar amount for any covered treatment or procedure no matter where you receive care within the United States. So you will never have to worry about being “in network” or “out of network” when choosing a provider domestically.
With respect to medical services received outside the United States:
- The Atlas Direct insurance plan will not pay for medical tourism to other countries.
- The Atlas Direct insurance plan will only cover claims for medical services received outside the United States if they involved injuries or illness that required immediate medical attention and for which treatment could not be delayed until after returning to the United States.
