Yes, you can definitely switch your DPC provider while you have Atlas Direct coverage, and you should feel totally comfortable doing so.
That's because Atlas Direct’s insurance component is sold and billed completely independently of Direct Primary Care, which you have to obtain directly from a DPC clinic, which will bill you separately for their DPC services.
As part of your annual Atlas Direct insurance renewal, you will be asked to attest that you are still under the care of a DPC doctor—but it doesn’t matter to us if it’s the same DPC doctor as the previous year or a totally new DPC doctor. That choice is entirely up to you.
